These pages are a great way to organize the thankful thoughts of young students. They can list the people, places, and things they are thankful for on the graphic organizer, then write a paragraph about it on the included writing paper.

These number sorts are a great way to teach (then allow your students to practice in math stations) number sense, including place value and determining multiples of 5 and 10. I tell my first graders, "multiples of 10" just means you say it when you count by tens". (Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy!) There is a sort with 7 tens, 5 ones, and multiples of 10. These number sense posters are designed to help children understand bigger numbers by coordinating the numerals to ten frame and base ten representations. The number in the tens place is color coded to match the full ten frames and ten rods. Likewise, the color of the number in the ones place matches the partially filled ten frames and one cubes.
