This assignment is for students to practice integer rules with multiplication and division. To go along with the computational component is a color by number page, in which students will use their solutions to determine what color to use on the coloring page. This is a great assignment to use for homework after teaching a lesson on basic rules of multiplying and dividing integers.

This product contains notes and examples for how to add/subtract decimals using models, as well as how to multiply decimals using models. Students are shown an example with explicit steps on how to model the operations with a 10 x 10 grid, and then challenged to try a few on their own.

This activity has 3 parts: Part 1 gives students real-world problems that involve integers. An incorrect answer has been identified. Students must determine how the incorrect answer was calculated, and explain the mistake or misconception. Part 2 asks students to correctly solve the problemsPart 3 challenges students to solve multi-step integer operations problems from real-world scenarios. This is a homework assignment that can be used following lesson that teaches students how to add and subtract decimals. The assignment includes basic computation, modeling, problem solving, and critical thinking.

This is a quiz that challenges students to calculate the area of irregularly shaped 2-dimensional objects.
