Predicting the 45th Presidential Election
As a math teacher, I try to take any and every opportunity to incorporate real-world applications and events into my teaching - but same days it's harder than others.
With the election rapidly approaching, I figured it would be the perfect time for a data and statistics lesson in my PAP Algebra 1 class. This lesson also meets 6th, 7th, and 8th grade standards, so don't shy away if you're not an Algebra 1 teacher. It is definitely adaptable.

Teaching style
I love hands on activities, inquiry based learning, and anything that gets my kids moving. I want them to have real world application to any and all assignments we work on. I want them to leave my classroom with questions. I want them to be curious. I want them to want to learn math.

Graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Middle Childhood Education specializing in Mathematics and Science (certified grades 4-9).
