Teaching style
Integrated math follows the Illinois State Standards. Every unit has been created by deconstructing the standards.
Each unit that we have created has PowerPoints with corresponding guided notes, example packets and worksheets.
We aim to integrate captivating activities into each unit that we have in the near future.
As teachers we believe that we need to make each day a meaningful learning experience for each one of our students.
My own education history
Both of us have graduated from Southern Illinois University.
Additional biographical information
Together we have been able to create a fully integrated math curriculum for high school teachers that is easy to implement. We have created Math I, Math II, Math III, and a Math I readiness course for incoming freshman who are not yet ready to take on the rigor of Math I.
We aim to give teachers the resources to create a classroom environment where students are able to thrive and grow as mathematical thinkers.
