A rubric with questions used for with my grade 9 Math students to show their understanding of operations with rational numbers. I use this as an observation/conversation assessment, whereby the students take me through the steps for solving on the board while orally explaining their thought process. Could be edited for other math problems/grades.
4 bingo cards that have integer problems of adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing on them. I use this as a review tool after teaching a lesson on operations with integers. Laminating them makes it easy to use again and again with white board markers and erasers.
Used as a culminating activity for a data management unit in Grade 4. Students should have learned how to create a survey and also how to draw a bar graph from a set of results.
