A wonderful weather experiment for your mini-meteorologists! This is a one page document that features a table with items to place in front of a fan. Students predict whether or not the items listed on the table will be blown by the wind created by a fan. Then, an adult helps students test each object.

This is a fun addition to your math curriculum for Halloween week, or it may help you spice up a science unit on pumpkins! Students measure the height of a pumpkin with cubes, the circumference with a string, the weight with a scale, and test if their pumpkin will sink or float.
