CGI stands for Cognitively Guided Instruction. This entry-level CGI product is great for station, small group lesson, and independent work. On the first page, you have standards that the math story addresses, vocabulary, a checkbox to self assess, the math story, sentence prompt for planning, primary strategy, space to show work, and an opportunity to answer question using number sentence and in written form. On the second page, it has an extension math story, as well as connections between po
