In this activity, children will collect data while at the grocery store and then use the data to complete activities. Students will practice weighing fruits in the grocery store scale and calculate volume of cereal boxes and compare the mass of the contents.

In this activity, children will collect data from the produce section of the grocery store by weighing items and plotting the weights of different numbers of objects on a graph. This will help students understand the relationship that more items relates to more weight and therefore a linear relationship exists.

In this activity, students will complete activities at the grocery store and then using the data, solve some 'real world' problems using the data.
