Students will need a ruler. It is based on Lancaster, PA but can be adjusted for any continental US city.

Student project for ordering and adding integers - Rubric Included! The topic is made personal for students - it's all based off of their birthday. For the Step 2 when students pick integers, I have used two methods: Option 1: Make integer cards for them to pick from a hat - 1 with positives, 1 with negatives. (See bundle with integer cards included.) Option 2: Use random integer generator online! (Be careful setting the parameters.) Word doc file, so feel free to edit as you'd like.

"All About Me... In Numbers!" - Rubric Included. A project to get to know your students while getting them thinking about numbers. I formatted it so that students could do a paper OR digital poster (on their iPads) - but you can edit the direction for just one or the other.

A fun, interactive project (or alternative assessment) for the Pythagorean Theorem. The project is specific to my school and city, but it is a Word document so you could easily edit and adjust it however you'd like! Students use the map to measure then use Pythagorean Theorem to do calculations in order to compare a messenger pigeon to walking.
