This anchor chart is a great one to give to students to use as a reference while they are learning about the 6 question words. My students put it in a page protector to keep at the front of their binders. I hope it can be useful for you and your students. Thanks so much for looking!

This anchor chart is a great one to give to students to use as a reference while they are learning about transitional words in their writing.
This is NOT an in depth list of transitional words. This is for your basic first or second grader.
My students that are having trouble using transitional words just focus on the large words in the middle (these are the only ones I want to see on their papers right now.) My students who have the "hang of" transitional words are allowed to explore and us
Kids can retell Jesus going to the tomb after death, the stone being removed and showing the empty tomb with this craft activity! You can print it out in color or black and white. You will need brass fasteners to attach the stone to the tomb. Enjoy!
After reading Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters, your students can sequence the cards to check for understanding and help with retell.
I have also included the Venn Diagram we used to compare and contrast Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters to Cinderella.

Each student colors an Easter Egg.
When you want the students to make halves, they get with one partner, cut their egg and glue it to the "Easter Egg Halves" sheet.
When you want the students to make fourths, they get with 3 other students, cut their egg and glue it to the "Easter Egg Fourths" sheet.
This is a great "hook" or "early finisher" activity to make fractions hands-on and meaningful for students!
Also great for bulletin board displays!

After reading Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters, your students can tell how a character responds to events in the story using this work sample.
Please check out my sequence cards and Venn Diagram to go along with this story in my tpt store.

Kids have a very difficult time distinguising between the ough sounds in words. This activity will help them "sort" it all out! You can use the cards in a center and then assess them with assessment sheet. Hope you enjoy!
This activity pack includes 3 anchor charts for 2D and 3D shapes. There is also a bump game for the 2D shapes and a Tic Tac Toe game for 3D shapes. Directions are included! Games are perfect for centers or early finishers. I did the Bump Game as part of my lesson for the guided practice one day and then put it as an early finisher activity. They won't stop playing it!!!

Are you looking for something to push your high kids in the area of comparing 3-digit numbers? This will make them think!! Students will have to move numbers around to make number sentences correct.
I used this to introduce RL.2.6. I wanted my students to be able to identify characteristics of a character and provide evidence from a story before they could tell the point of view or voice of a character.
In this activity...
Students may manipulate characteristic cards to show their knowledge of Cinderella, The Prince, The Fairy Godmother and Stepmother's character traits. Word and picture cards (provided in black and white and 2 skin colors) make it easy to sort, move around and discuss ch
This anchor chart is a great one to give to students to use as a reference while they are learning about the moral or lesson of the story. Make sure the students understand about characteristics of a character, B-M-E of a story and problem/solution before introducing this anchor. My students put it in a page protector to keep at the front of their binders. I hope you can use it!

At the beginning of each religion class cycle, I meet a new set of sweet faces. I made this glyph so that I could get to know the children quickly at a glance while they did a cute activity. The children color in the apple tree, from the story Adam and Eve, according to the directions to show things they like or to tell things about themselves. I used the apple tree so I could talk about creation and Adam and Eve along with this lesson.
Thank you so much for taking a peak!
Super cute graphics from Kari Bolt! I used this Nativity half sheet to attach to paper bags for treats at my Religion Class Christmas party.
Hope you can find a reason to use them!
Enjoy and please check out my tpt store. Thanks!
I love to have my students make Christmas cards for their loved ones! These cards are so easy to use. Just print on regular paper and fold. The kids can color and add their own messages. There are 5 designs to choose from: Santa, angel, tree, elf and nativity.
Thanks for taking a peek at my product!
