Have students take responsibility for their forgotten assignments. Make copies of the first sheet to keep in a binder (hopefully it won't be too full by the end of the year!). I use this when a student's behavior consistently does not allow them to be with their peers. I use this to document the amount of time they are away from their peers. There is space to write notes about the time away. I calculate the percentage of the day the student is away from their peers. This can be helpful when developing a Behavior Intervention Plan.
