Experience

Hi! I have over 15 years experience teaching grades K – 4. I currently teach a grade 2 class part-time in a metropolitan school in Adelaide, South Australia.

Teaching style

I like to incorporate problem-solving and higher order thinking skills in my lessons. I’m always striving to extend the high achievers in my class just as much as I work to build up the skills of students who need extra support. One way in which I differentiate the curriculum is to run open ended activities with my class. I enjoy creating open ended resources just as much as I love using them.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I always get a buzz out of all of those little rewarding moments where I can see that my students are genuinely engaged and having fun whilst they learn.
