Learning Through Play

Includes three lesson plan options to get students excited about going through the steps of the scientific method. Lessons follow gradual release format. Standards are aligned to Missouri grade level expectations for 5th grade science, but the lessons will work for any teacher trying to teach the parts of a fair test. Forms help students identify variables, ask a testable question, form a hypothesis, plan for investigation, organize data, draw conclusions, and suggestions for further experiment
