Reviewing 2nd Grade Key Terms with "Mathlish"
Practice key math vocabulary terms with your students by speaking "Mathlish" with them! Students will see a key term, and describe it to a peer without using that word in it's description!
You can play this game similar to HeadBandz - where the child places the term on their head and their partner describes, or you can play where you pick up a card and describe it to your partner, and if they get it you place it into a "got it" pile, and if not, the "review" pile.

I believe in the power of relationships. Once students feel comfortable, safe, and loved - they are willing and ready to take the risks necessary to learn in the classroom.
