About the store
As an elementary classroom teacher, I enjoyed creating assessments that challenged my students to think creatively, and express their understanding of content in both traditional and nontraditional formats. In 2008, Teaching Children Mathematics published my article titled, “Students Control Their Own Learning: A Metacognitive Approach” (https://eric.ed.gov/?id=EJ809146). In addition to my 7+ years of teaching elementary school with a concentration on math and science, More recently, I have been staying at home with my 4 young children. I also have a stationery business (LetterLearning.com) that allows me to design and create stationery for children with traceable message, so kids of all ages and writing abilities can send their own thank you notes and greetings.
