When teaching how to write a paragraph, teachers usually go to the hamburger illustration to explain the components of a paragraph. Using the hamburger paragraph was not making a connection for me or my students, and there is only so many toppings kids use on their hamburger. I wanted to make it fun interesting and something my students could relate to.
