In this activity, students practice finding the area and perimeter of both regular and irregular shapes. The irregular shapes are created with a grid pattern. In this activity, students investigate six different cards each featuring a 3D shape. On the reproducible answer sheet, the number of faces, edges and vertices for each shape is recorded. My own education history

I have a BA in Special Education from Florida Atlantic University and am certified in Special Ed. and Early Childhood Ed. I earned a Masters degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State University in 2000.

Additional biographical information

I started creating learning activities to use in my own classroom and found that it was something I really enjoyed doing. So, I decided to create and sell literacy bags, file folder games and learning centers for other teachers back in 2004. I find it an honor to be able to share my work with teachers and students all around the globe.
