Oedipus timed writing prompt and rubric. Activity asks students to discuss Oedipus' tragic flaw in a one hour timed write. Developed for Freshman GATE students, but can be differentiated for mainstream English classes. Prompt is structured to enable mainstream student writing by leading questions. Rubric included.
