Real World Problem-Extension Activity
This activity is an extension activity for students who have been solving real world problems. They are asked to create their own problem they would like to solve. It is a very open ended activity that gives the students freedom to be creative while still using their math skills!
I used it as an extension for my high level Algebra class and they enjoyed it!

About the store
Experience
This is my third year as a middle school math teacher! I have taught 7th and 8th grade math, 7th grade accelerated, 8th grade algebra, and 9th grade algebra. I have also taught in Washington and Arizona state.
Teaching style
I try to incorporate manipulatives as much as possible in my lessons. Trying to get the students to construct conclusions on their own based off background knowledge and new discoveries!
Also, I try to use task cards, scavenger hunts, games, and fun lessons to get the kids engaged!
My own education history
I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Bachelor of Education in Reading and Mathematics.
I am endorsed to teach middle level math (5-9), reading, and elementary education.
