I used this assessment to determine student knowledge of singular possessive nouns. It contains 20 questions. I threw in a couple on abbreviations, because I wanted to review what I taught the past week. You can edit that part out, though, if you don't want to use that.
I used only a short quiz with 6 questions on it for this story in the Cinderella Guidebook Unit. It was the last story that I did and I focused more on the culminating writing task this week than an actual test/formal assessment.
I taught "The Raft" and focused on the standard RL 2.2 & then I spent 3 days on "River Song" and focused on the standard RL 2.4. This is the assessment that I made. It includes 2 cold reads, part A/part B questions, and application of the 6 vocabulary words from the raft/river song.
This is an assessment on adjectives that compare (using -er and -est endings). I also have a little review on regular adjectives on this test as well. I'm not sure why the lines that separate each question looks like that, but that can easily be fixed/deleted.
I created this assessment when I taught plural possessive nouns. I also added a few review on there. They had to know the difference between singular and plural possessive nouns.
This assessment was made with 20 questions and includes the vocabulary words for this story. I focused on the standards RL 2.7 (illustrations in a text) and RL 2.1 (ask and answer questions) and made the cold reads based on those standards. I also included comprehension questions on the story as well.
This is an assessment based off of the story of "The Rough-Face Girl" by Rafe Martin. I have included questions on vocabulary, a cold-read with questions, and questions on the story.
I created this assessment to go along with assessing the skills I taught when doing Lesson 1: A Drop of Water. The skills I focused on were RI 2.4 (determining the meaning of unknown words) and RI 2.6 (author's purpose/intent). I also included the vocabulary from the lesson as well.
I created this assessment to go along with assessing the skills I taught when doing Lesson 2: The Water Cycle. The skills I focused on were RI 2.3 (which is about the scientific steps and idea in a process or text). I also included the vocabulary from the lesson as well. There are Part A and Part B questions on this assessment also in order to prepare them for next year.

I have defined all of the vocabulary that was given in the Famous Americans Unit of the Louisiana Guidebook. This is a word doc. and each page has their own Lesson with the vocabulary and definitions. I used this to hand out to the children to study their vocabulary words. The LA guidebook only had 5 lesson that included the vocabulary so these are those 5 lessons vocab. Ex: Susan B. Anthony, When Marion Sang, Rosa Parks, MLK, etc.
I taught this lesson for 4 days and tested on the 5th day. I focused on standards RI 2.1 and RI 2.9. This is an assessment on that and includes vocabulary as well. There are about 20 questions total.
