The Algebra I Toolkit: Reproducible Notes for Student Journals is a publication intended to be used as a supplement to an algebra classroom's main curriculum. It includes over 90 pages of reproducible notes that students can glue into their class notebook. These time saving notes not only serve as a year-long reference for students, they also help create a more time-efficient classroom.

Even though I work with 8th grade students, I have found that they still enjoy stations. The following .pdf file contains 11 pages of pre-algebra/algebra vocabulary pages that I put in the front of my students' math journals. As the year progresses I have students fill out a definition, example, and a picture if applicable for each word.
This file contains reproducible notes that can be cut-out and glued into student journals. These notes are not only time-saving, but also give students an invaluable resource. This .pdf file contains step-by-step notes on inequalities, including; (1) inequality symbols, (2) writing inequalities, (3) graphing inequalities, and (4) solving inequalities. I have another download available that includes this file, and all of my other downloadable glue-in note topics called: Reproducible Algebra Note

This is a task in which students will solve six systems of equations on a worksheet. Students will then cut out the tangram puzzle pieces. Using the solutions they found, students will match the puzzle piece with each system to the puzzle piece with the correct solution. In the end the tangram puzzle will form a design.
This presentation includes step-by-step examples on how to find the slope of a line given a graph, given two-points, and given a linear equation. Also included in this .ppt presentation are the different types of slopes: positive, negative, zero, and undefined and practice problems for students to work on to break up the examples.

This .pdf file contains 30 days of daily algebra warm-up problems. Each day consists of 4 problems for a total of 120 algebra problems. These warm-ups can be projected for daily practice in student notebooks or can be shrunken down and copied for students. You can choose to use one or all four problems a day.
This Powerpoint introduces using inductive and deductive reasoning to look at general rules for sequences. The presentation includes examples and practice problems, and also goes over counterexamples.
This file includes 26 blue playing cards with un-simplified numeric and algebraic expressions and 26 maroon playing cards that include the simplified answers. This can be used as a sort, as a memory game, or as "Go Fish." This task reinforces the properties of exponents. There is a free download that goes along with this purchase called: Exponent Matching Card Box. This would be a great addition to math centers or to keep in the classroom for early finishers.
This task/activity combines the game of checkers and the slope of a line. Students take turns drawing a slope card. The slope on the card will dictate how the student can move one of their game pieces. For example, if the slope is 3/2, the student may move one of their pieces up three, and over two (rise/run). The file includes the cover sheet with instructions, a printable game board, and 48 slope cards that can be printed 2-sided with the logo on one side and the slope on the other. The o
