This FREE resource is great as a glue-in for your students' notebooks! I like having the students glue the paper so the top sticks out, acting as a tab so they can get to their PEMDAS and Number Forms sheets easily and quickly. These are two to a page, so it's paper-saving too!

Here's part 2 of my Area Model PowerPoint. This presentation contains four digits by one digit multiplication AND two digit by two digit multiplication. The instructional slides move step-by-step for the area model method of multiplication. Additionally, there are practice problem slides. Have your students use whiteboards to solve for a quick assessment, or have them write down the answers as an exit ticket. Plus, room for BITMOJIS!

Teaching style

I like to bring my punk rock attitude to my teaching. It may sound weird, but basically it's this: I expect my students to be themselves. I expect my students to accept others, ESPECIALLY when the other is different in some way. I don't apologize for my geekiness and show them that if you're you, there's no better way to be.
