This product is designed to be a tool for teaching students Colour Theory that tend to learn better through kinaesthetic learning. It also acts as a good memory jogging tool (starter) before students begin painting or colour mixing in lessons.
The flash cards are designed to make students more familiar with colour blending, which colours mixed together make what colours, and colour theory with the labelling of primary, secondary, opposite, analogous, tinted and shaded colours.

Why this product was designed:
This product was created out of a need to organize my own classroom. I’ve found that having pictures of the material along with the name helps students to replace the items in the desired location. It also reminds me what is missing from the shelves quickly and easily.

This is a cover lesson based on the art work of Samuel Fallours. An inventive and creative individual who documented many new species of life. This is sure to get your students thinking creatively and colourfully.
This handout is based on mixing colours. Students have to add and subtract colours in order to figure out the answers. They then have to set a target for their project and reassess their progress at the end of the lesson.
This starter works best when attached to a painting project.
This is a writing frame to help students write about their sculpture projects in depth and intelligently.
