This is a great power point that I use with my whole class. There are plenty of examples to practice rounding decimals and word problems too. There is room on the slides to create and write the steps with your students. The sum it up is a group activity which requires students to use menus to place mock orders for take out. They can estimate the amount they spend and then calculate the actual. I get the take out menus from local restaurants. They love this activity!! Common Core Aligned:

I love this power point! I use this power point with my whole class. This power point introduces multiplying a whole number and a mixed number by a fraction. There is plenty of blank space to solve problems and write the steps for your students notes. It starts with a pair share activity, then straight calculations and word problems. This power point explores the concept of how we add fractions with unlike denominators. The power point asks students to compare blood types with different denominators. In this file I have included all of the homework coupons I use during the school year with my class. There are holiday themed coupons, coupons representing the different seasons, and just some cute ones too. A total of 19 different coupons. I always print my coupons in color on card stock. I then laminate them so I can use them over and over again. I have included a line for the teacher to sign there name before laminating. I finally created a new classroom rules poster for my classroom. I love the way it came out and it looks so great in my classroom. It looks like one of those wood signs everyone is buying. This power point has three Number Properties Quizzes I use in my class to see if my students can identify the following properties: Commutative, Associative, Distributive, Identity, zero and Inverse. You can print them and hand them out for students to keep in their notes or be used as a quick quiz. I love to quickly flash them up on my board and quickly quiz them aloud.

I just made these hall passes for my classroom and thought I would share. Boys Bathroom Girls Bathroom Locker Pass Office Pass Lunch Pass Late Pass Print the passes out on card stock.
