This set includes 2 lesson plans, a discovery activity, a divisibility rules cheat sheet, task cards and a note catcher for a game of quiz-quiz trade. In the lesson plan, students will investigate which numbers are divisible by 2,3 and 6. They will then look for patterns. Students continue to make more discoveries along the way until the rules for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 are discussed. Students will get practice with the task cards as they use the protocol "quiz-quiz trade" to quiz classmate

Teaching style
It is always my goal to get students out of their seats during the class period. I love to allow my students to discover new concepts and then follow up the investigation with a mini-lesson. I am a teacher at an EL Learning school and I am always looking for real world applications of math to apply to our units of study.
