Circumference Activity/Discussion Questions for Deeper Learning!
This worksheet and protocol allow for students to have a stronger understanding of parts of a circle and circumference of circles. There is also a section at the end for students to draw circles using a compass. If compasses are not available, they can use a ruler. Experience
I have taught 7th grade for 8 years and have also taught a combination of 5th, 6th and 8th grade in various years. Currently, I teach part time and spend the other half of my job as a math instructional coach.
Teaching style
It is always my goal to get students out of their seats during the class period. I love to allow my students to discover new concepts and then follow up the investigation with a mini-lesson. I am a teacher at an EL Learning school and I am always looking for real world applications of math to apply to our units of study.
