In this activity, students are required to tell the time to the nearest minute on an analog clock. Then, they must plot that time on the given number line. The number line has space for students to write the "start hour" above the 0 and the "next hour" above the 60. They will have to draw tick marks to find the nearest minute on the number line. Aligns with CCSS 3.MD.1

Aligns with CCSS 3.MD.1 and Eureka Math Module 2 Students are given a number line and must label the start hour and next hour. They will have to draw tick marks to plot the time to the nearest minute.

Eureka Math Module 2 Lessons 5, 6/7 combo, 8, 9, 10, 11 guided notes. Can be used as supplemental material for your lessons, or as direct instruction during your lesson. Students can glue into journals and follow along, take notes and solve during or after the lesson!

Awesome project for the end of the year 3rd grade! Requires students to use their knowledge of area, perimeter, elapsed time, multiplication, division and fractions creatively. Students must design the blue print of their own school using grid paper (area and perimeter), come up with a class schedule (elapsed time), and design a "lesson" on a topic they have learned about this year.

CCSS 2.NBT.1 Give students extra practice with place value and identifying the value to each digit up to the hundred's place!
