Students are asked to give a reason why each statistic is misleading. This accompanies Bluman's Elementary Statistic Book, section 1-6. The worksheet has two pages, and answers are attached. **There is a PowerPoint to accompany the worksheet for class discussion.

This worksheet reviews sections 3-1 and 3-2 of Bluman's Elementary Statistics textbook. Students are asked to calculate Mean, Median, Mode and Midrange for sets of data. They are also asked to find the mean and modal class for grouped frequency distributions, and weighted means. There is one question regarding the distribution of data.

This Crossword Puzzle reviews the vocabulary for Chapter 2 of Bluman's Statistic Book. The terms are such as: Histogram, Frequency Distribution, Raw Data, Pareto Charts, etc. **I was not happy with the way the numbers on the puzzle printed out. So, if you want to use it as it is, please consider downloading the adobe/.pdf version. I took a pen and went over the numbers so they would copy better.

I created this game to help students classify variables/data as ordinal, nominal, ratio or intervel level. I printed everything out on cardstock, and separated the cards and put them into envelopes. After separating students into teams of 4, they race to place the data in the appropriate column on the game board. This is two games in one. First we categorize as Discrete and Continuous, then we do the measurement levels.

Students are asked to create a table for their prom expenses. They are asked to do a poster, then create a bar and or pie graph for their results and for the entire class results. They are also asked to compute the Mean, Median, and Mode for each item in their expense sheet. I uploaded both the doc, and the scanned pdf because you may want the circle for the pie chart.
