About the store

Experience

I have been blessed to be a part of our school district since 2012. In that time I have taught remedial math to kids in grades K through 8.

Teaching style

We do not sit often in my room. I teach hands on through manipulatives, song, dance, outside, or any motion to get kids moving and loving math!

Awards & shining teacher moments

As a fairly new teacher, I have not yet received any official honors or awards. Although, I am not sure what is more rewarding than the smiles and laughs from my kids as they have fun learning math!

My own education history

As a child I always hated math. I could do it, but really did not want to. I was bored with it. When choosing my profession, I decided to become a math teacher with a vow to make math FUN!

Additional biographical information

In addition to all of my kiddos at school, I have three kids of my own, two cats, and a Doberman that I juggle at home. I have been blessed with a supportive husband and amazing family!
