With this activity, students can use the colors of the rainbow to determine the partners of 10 (two numbers that add together to make 10). On the back, they can make their own rainbow to re-write the facts.

Suggestions for Use: 1. Students will “shop” for Halloween Candy. You can either use the candy posters provided or weekly ads for stores. 2. Use the ads or posters to complete the tasks on each page. 3. On the last task, students will decorate a house with the candy that they chose. With this activity, students will solve 17 two step equation problems. With each answer, students will choose a word to fit a category provided. Once all of the problems are done they will fill in the words they chose to make a funny story, similar to the process of a Mad Libs game. Marvelous Multiplication was created in the hopes that students do not just memorize facts for a short time to do well on a test, but are working with their facts enough to remember all of them. With this program, students will start with the x2 facts on Fact Sheet 2A.
