With this activity, students can use the colors of the rainbow to determine the partners of 10 (two numbers that add together to make 10). On the back, they can make their own rainbow to re-write the facts.
Marvelous Multiplication was created in the hopes that students do not just memorize facts for a short time to do well on a test, but are working with their facts enough to remember all of them. With this program, students will start with the x2 facts on Fact Sheet 2A. If they are able to correctly complete the page in 2 minutes, they will move on to the Up to 2 facts, which are the facts of 0, 1, and 2. If they cannot solve the facts within the time frame, they will keep practicing 2’s and next

These posters can be put on book rings and simply flipped to the appropriate lesson each day. It's that easy! I laminated them so that I can use them every year :)
In this bundle I have included the PowerPoint slides for editing if need be, and also the PDF. If you would like to edit with these, you will need the KG Font Download.

First, students write the multiples of a number. Teaching the multiples has proven to be very effective in my classroom, as even if the kids are not sure of an answer they are starting to recognize when they have a wrong an

There is a built in timer on each page that needs time kept. This is a very easy, click through game that is a lot of fun with minimal preparation!
Ever had a text conversation that just wasn't what you meant to say? Well that’s what happens with homophones!
In this download, you will receive 18 different editable “homophones” for kids to identify and correct. I prefaced these phones with the book Dear Deer to introduce the homophones. We then went through each phone as a class for the kids to think about the different meanings.
Each phone has a conversation in which a homophone is used incorrectly. The first text box is the incor

Experience
I have been blessed to be a part of our school district since 2012. In that time I have taught remedial math to kids in grades K through 8.
Teaching style
We do not sit often in my room. I teach hands on through manipulatives, song, dance, outside, or any motion to get kids moving and loving math!
Awards & shining teacher moments
As a fairly new teacher, I have not yet received any official honors or awards. Although, I am not sure what is more rewarding than the smiles and laughs from my kids as they have fun learning math!
My own education history
As a child I always hated math. I could do it, but really did not want to. I was bored with it. When choosing my profession, I decided to become a math teacher with a vow to make math FUN!
Additional biographical information
In addition to all of my kiddos at school, I have three kids of my own, two cats, and a Doberman that I juggle at home. I have been blessed with a supportive husband and amazing family!
