This project introduces students to self regulation. As a class we discuss emotions making connections to art, drama, or dance. Explore the 4 colour zones, our feelings, and coping strategies. Consolidate learning by creating stress balls to use to self regulate from one zone to another. The zones of self-regulation is a great tool for students of all ages to become more self-aware while building emotional literacy. This project explores the area of self-advocacy. Students can discuss the character traits of their favourite superheroes and begin to identify what makes them super too! In their own slide deck students will compile their strengths, areas of improvement, goals, and self-regulation strategies.    Self Advocacy cards are a great tool for students of all ages to self-reflect, as well as share important information about themselves with members of their learning community (Teachers, EA’s, SLP).  Gr

Students only need access to google slides to complete this project.

This Inquiry project provides students with a graphic organizers to guide their research on a landform of their choosing (e.g Volcano, Mountain, Island etc). Through 6 Lessons students research and make judgments using geographic inquiry. Finally students compile their information into a brochure to share with their peers.  This project is made to be used for all levels of students. This Inquiry project provides students with the opportunity to investigate one major energy source (biomass, hydro, solar, crude oil, etc…). Students then share their slide in a class slide show where they can easily comment on each other's work.  Included:-Student instructions -Student Example -Learning Goal and success criteria Online Learning: Google Docs can easily be added to google classroom. Use  'Make a copy for each student' function to allow students to type in answers directly in the
