Transformations Exit Cards description Print this file on large index cards and laminate for year after year use. Exit cards 2-8 displays the different types of the transformations. Exit cards 9-21 presents types of transformations that the student must identify and describe. Expect differential answers depending on the academic level of the child. Academic challenge should be allowed to exit after identification (i.e. reflection or flip). The academic achieving student should describe the

These exit cards gives practice to find 10% and 1% to solve real-world and mathematical challenges with multiply steps. The concept of solving percent problems is easier if students have a solid understanding of the concept powers of 10. Print this file on large index cards and laminate for year after year use. Exit cards #2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 10 includes concepts of movement of the decimal point. Exit cards #4, 8, 12-21 presents multistep problems to find 10% and/or 1% then multiply by a facto

The easy part is to simplify the expression. The hard part is students should explain which of the exponent laws are needed to find a correct solution. Many students can solve the problem but cannot explain the how or why of the solution. There are 26 different problems with answer keys and six Law of Exponents tables for review. This is for algebra students so the rigor is higher. Note the slight difference between card #23 and 53; they have the same concept of a negative in front of coeffi

The exist cards has many different variations and different skill levels. This satisfies the some of the requirements for common core 7.G.4 and 7.G.6. You are not limited to the question on the card. The Hello Kitty credit card asks for the formula for area, but you could ask for the actual area which involves decimals. That is a simple way to expand the use of the cards. If you use a computer/projector the PDF file is a prefect flash card program (zoom to 125%). There are four cards wit
