Concession Stand is a business simulation for grades 8 - 12. Students will open a business and use their math skills to complete order forms, update inventory, pay bills, keep a ledger, and open for days of sale. This project works with higher level Blooms Taxonomy and allows students to work together in groups.
Students will be immersed in a case of a stolen piece of art. They will study the evidence and create a case to take to court. Students will take on the role of prosecution or defense and become attorneys in the case. This simulation takes them from the beginning of a case to the end product, a mock trial. Everything that is needed for teacher and students is included.
