A congruent triangles review Jeopardy game. Topics include types of triangle congruency, isosceles and equilateral triangles, overlapping triangles, and proofs. Each question also has a timer included. I have left the final jeopardy question blank so you can customize it. I typically use this as a test review activity and have students play in teams. I usually make the final jeopardy question a random knowledge question or a question about myself but that is completely up to you!

Students will calculate the loan payments for a car of their choice and determine if they can afford the car. This project walks them through the process step by step. The end result will be a PowerPoint or Google Slides Presentation. They will use interest formula, exponential equations, and logarithms throughout the project.

This Google Form Quiz can be used as a quiz or test or even a classwork assignment. It assesses students on the types of angles formed by parallel lines cut by a transversal and their relationships as well as triangle angle sum, external angles of a triangle, and proving that lines are parallel. There are 12 multiple-choice questions. I post it on Google Classroom and ask students to turn in all work along with the Google Form.

Students will create a map of their own town using parallel and transversal streets. They will then be required to locate specific destinations at the locations of special angle pairs, like a gas station and a restaurant at alternate exterior angles. This is a pretty simple project that allows students to show their knowledge and show some creativity in the creation of their city. A Google Docs version is linked in the PDF and is Editable.

Students will add, subtract, and multiply polynomial expressions to find the perimeter and area of a farm.

In the google slide presentation, there are ten slides with word problems about right triangles that require students to use sine, cosine, and tangent to solve. Students can solve the problems on paper and then upload pictures of the work on a copy of the slides presentation. You could also just have students submit the paper they did the work on or print out the slides and set up stations in your classroom.

Students label the parts of a parabola using a word bank and then must answer questions and find the key features of quadratic functions in both standard and vertex forms.

Students with label, highlight, and identify key features of the graphs of Polynomial Functions. There is one page with a diagram to label and highlight and 8 pages with different graphs for students to identify Key features on. Can be used as a quiz with each student doing the first page and then one additional graph each or as an activity.

The reference sheet has a diagram to show that there is a pattern for finding the value of the powers of i. There is also the rule on the bottom of the sheet. There are 2 versions attached. One has students fill in the blanks and the second is already filled in and can be used as a handout.

In this activity, students find the centroid of a triangle by finding the median of each side using a ruler. They then cut out the triangle and try to balance it on the tip of a pen or pencil. If done correctly they should be able to balance it and see why the centroid in nicked "the balancing point" of a triangle. It is a fun little activity that most students enjoy. Students will apply what they have learned about binomial distributions to the distribution of yellow pom poms in a jar of multi-colored pom poms.

Students will match Z-score statements with their normal curves and their area proportions.

This bundle includes 8 worksheets on parent functions and translations. Each worksheet has students create a table of values and graph the parent function. Then each worksheet has 10 translations of the parent function and students are asked to identify the translation and graph each translation. Included parent functions: linear, quadratic, cubic, square root, cube root, absolute value, rational, and exponential.

This is a "hub" that use to help with distance learning. It is a central location where students can find everything they need for the week: videos, notes, practice, meeting times, and my contact information. The first page of the Google Slides Presentation has links to all of the information and the tasks expected of students for each day of the week. Clicking on one of the links will bring the students to another page of the presentation that will have links to what they need for a given day.

Students will match the factored form of a quadratic function to its standard form.

Each student will need a fun-sized bag of Skittles. They will count the number of Skittles in their bag and along with their classmates' data run a hypothesis test to test if the company's claimed amount of Skittles per bag is correct.

Students will graph several types of parent functions and then identify types of translations and graph the. Types of functions include linear, quadratic cubic, rational, exponential, absolute value, and more.

Students will create a 5 song playlist to test whether or not the shuffle mode is random. They will press shuffle 50 times to collect data and then go through the process of doing a Chi-squared Goodness of Fit Test to get a p-value and make a conclusion.

There are 15 stations in this activity that include equations with logarithms and natural logarithms. You could print each station and put them around the room and have students circulate and answer on an answer sheet or separate piece of paper or I do it digitally. I make a copy for each student through Google Classroom and have them insert their work as a picture on each slide.

This Google Form Quiz has 14 questions on simplifying expressions and solving equations. All questions are multiple-choice and range from simplifying and solving to error analysis. This can be used as a test, quiz, or classwork.
