I've taught middle school math (grades 6, 7, 8) and high school math (9th, 11th, and 12th graders). Students love my project-based assessments and have provided a lot of feedback regarding how fun the projects are!
Hello! As a way to wrap up the lesson on how to solve a system of equations using the graphing and substitution, I give this activity to the class as an exit ticket and/or quiz. Students have a fun time working on the problem together and it requires them to apply their understanding of solving systems of linear equations to a real world problem. This exit ticket should take around 20-30 minutes to complete.
Hello! Units 6 and 7 on College Board's recommended sequence for AP Statistics covers inference procedures for proportions and means. Many students struggle through these units because there are a lot of tests to remember and it may be difficult to determine which procedures are appropriate to use. If this sounds like your students, this study guide is a great resource! You can provide this at the end of the unit as a study guide or in the beginning of the unit as a reference resource that stud
This resource provides students with practice on how to rewrite linear equations in slope intercept form, in preparation to graphing linear equations. It includes procedural practice, word problems. an early finishers section, and an exit ticket that students can take at the end of class. This should take 1-2 hours for students to complete. It also provides students with notes that they can use in case they get stuck.
