Experience

12 years teaching Math at a variety of levels (Primary to grade 12 including Pre-Calc, Algebra I and II, IGCSE, A-Levels, SAT I and II, GCSE, O-levels etc), Chemistry AP; A - level, and SAT II, Physics, Bio AP and Bio SAT. Teaching style

I like to challenge the students and create activities that make them scratch their heads and have to think about a topic or situation. I try to make each topic as applicable to everyday examples as I can. Being able to regurgitate information is one thing, but I like to see students thinking outside the box.

My own education history

Bachelor or science Education (Honours), Taught masters in Software localisation.

Additional biographical information

I come from Ireland, but have lived and worked in an environment that is mostly concerned with American curriculum or British curriculum, in that time teaching mainly Math and the three Sciences (chemistry, physics and biology, as well as ecology and environmental science etc) and English as a language.
