A simple activity to help students review Making 10. We love using Cuisenaire rods or Unifix Cubes, having students find multiple ways to create 10 and writing the equations in different parts of their picture. Students can create equations with 2 addends (such as 7+3) or with 3 or more addends (1+3+6) to see just how many ways we can think through Making 10.
