This 5 station rotation activity is aligned with Texas STAAR TEKS (5.2(B) compare and order two decimals to thousandths and represent comparisons using the symbols >, <, or =). I have taken images of Pokemon Go and adjusted their Combat Power to be rational numbers to the thousandths where students get to compare. Get students engaged with this great 5 station rotation!!!

This activity is modeled after the Name It activity from Lead4ward. It is designed to help students model thinking while solving multistep problems. The answer bank allows students to VISUALLY see the thinking a teacher does when he/she makes a strip diagram for a multistep problem. It also helps students to go back and READ the word problem and decipher what the numbers mean and how to use the numbers. I hope you like my activity :)
