This is an activity where students write the where and when of the setting they see in the picture. They should also connect this to what types of characters they would see in this setting to help them make the connection that certain characters belong in certain settings.

I created this book to use as an assessment for my weather unit. My students are supposed to be able to identify and explain types of weather and weather instruments. This can be used to assess or throughout lessons as you introduce new weather vocabulary.
For the assessment/activity students should write 1-2 sentences and draw a picture to clearly explain the weather vocabulary word.

Use this product to have your students practice counting coins. Print and laminate for durability. Place cards at seats around the room and have children scoot and answer each card. This can be used as a fun way to practice or even a formative assessment. The kids will love scooting and rotating around the room!
