Each week students are given 10 word root list. Some lists contain 10 words with the same root or 2 different lists with 5 words that share the same root.
Each assessment includes 3 parts:
1. Part 1- Spelling
Students are responsible for spelling each of their roots. They then use this as their word bank
2. Part 2- Definition
Students fill in the words to match the definition
3. Part

Here is a piece for your students interactive notebooks! Students lift the flap to reveal different adverbs such as:where, when, how, and to what extent.
