Be a "Minecraft" City Manager - Plan a new city area and perimeter activity
With this product your students become a city manager in charge of planning a new "Minecraft" city. If your students are as wild about the Minecraft game as mine are, they will love getting to plan a new city!

This School Landscaping Plan activity asks students to become a landscaper and help make new flower beds for the school! Students are tasked with finding the area and perimeter for four different flower beds. Teaching style
I love teaching third grade math and science. I prefer more hands on teaching method where the students are using manipulatives and tools to really gain an understanding of the math. I encourage discussion about strategies and I love watching the students discover a new way of solving a problem and seeing the light bulb go off when they gain a new level of understanding. In science I love doing experiments and explorations. The students are always so excited to learn about our world and get so creative when it's their turn to create an exploration or experiment.
