In this project, students will use measurement and multiplication to create a MAMMOTH or mini version of themselves! They will start by predicting some measurements about their own bodies.They will then find the actual measurements, using rulers, measuring tapes, and/or meter sticks. Finally they will scale those measurements either up or down to create a MAMMOTH or mini me, complete with a personality and more! Experience

I have been teaching primarily 5th and 6th grade math, in Boston, Massachusetts, for the last 10 years, but also enjoying teaching 5th grade Social Studies, Literacy, and Character Building/Social Thinking.

Teaching style

My teaching style is conceptual, creative, and project based. My goal is to engage students each day by giving them fun, interesting, and relevant tasks and projects.

My own education history

I completed my Undergraduate Studies in Psychology and Elementary Education at Umass Dartmouth in 2004. I went on to complete a Master's Program in Special Education at Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
