This game is based off of the Hasbro(c) game, Battleship. It has been adapted so students play on the first quadrant of the coordinate graph. This project allows students to discover where some of the foundations of math come from. Students research a famous mathematician to learn about their early life, education, and contributions. The students must then describe WHY the contributions are important to math and/or their lives.
