Math Review is a daily activity in my 2nd grade classroom. Students spend 15-20 minutes completing a worksheet then 10-15 minutes discussing their answers. This file has four weeks of math review. Each week has 4 (or 3 in one case) daily practices and 1 checkup. The checkup is my version of a weekly quiz to determine if the students have mastered the skill. You'll notice certain types of questions occur each week. That's because some of my kids needed to practice a little longer.

ReadyGen Focus Walls for Units 1-4 I cut the pages apart, laminated, and then mounted them on my ReadyGen Focus board for each unit. I pair my focus board with the vocabulary cards so the kids and I can regularly reference the unit goals.

At fall conferences, I meet with parents and students to set goals for the year. This contract tracks the assessments the kids have taken, compares their scores to the desired scores, and has lines for student, teacher, and parent goals. At spring conference, the contract is used to show growth on assessment as well as to state how the child and teacher think the child performed in school this year.
