This is a Menus project I created that tie in different uses of statistical measures. Each student is required to choose an entree, side dish, dessert, and try all options of the appetizers to earn full credit of 100 points. Some sections of this project do require the use of materials students or teachers may need to bring in to the classroom. This project is a great way to incorporate sports into the classroom. Students create a set of graphs (bar graph, circle graph, double-bar graph) and questions that their classmates can answer when completed. This is an information sheet about the project. Students will need to use the internet to complete this project.

This menus project is great example of differentiated instruction at work. Students are allowed to make choices about what types of assignments they would like to complete. The ultimate goal is to earn 50 points to achieve a grade of 100. This assignment deals with all topics including Linear Functions, Quadratic Functions, Probability, Statistics, Measurement, Systems of Equations, and Systems of Inequalities.
