How to read a food label. This reading challenge allows students to practice reading a food label before answering 10 questions challenging them to show their understanding. This is a good example of a simple information report about the telephone. The reading comes with a list of comprehension questions. This was used to serve as an example before students wrote their own information reports about technology that interested them, e.g. cars, games consoles, televisions - even washing machines and jet planes. The students followed the same layout with a brief intro with a hook then 4 main paragraphs answering: What is it? How it changed? What has been its impact?
