Exponent Rules Magic Square
There are many topics in math that just need PRACTICE! In this 5 x 5 grid, students will practice 25 different problems. The format of the page makes it feel like less work than a traditional worksheet numbered #1-25. Yes, the answers will repeat in a pattern, but that is a good time to discuss the commutative property of multiplication.
This activity includes negative exponents and negative coefficients, which is always a problem area when teaching this topic.
