About the store
I taught preschool for 5 years before graduating to Kindergarten! I found my home teaching this age group!! :) I have taught Kindergarten for 3 years and I spent one year teaching in Second grade. I feel that my years in preschool and my experience in Second have really helped me focus in on crucial skills for Kindergarteners based on where they are coming from and where they need to be in a few years! As of SY 2017/2018, I began teaching Special Education with an emphasis in Reading in lower grades.

Small Group Sight Word Tracking
I created this document to keep up with sight word tracking in my small group work during my Daily 5 literacy centers. The first day is an introduction of new words and a record of how I taught them. The second day is saved for assessment of sight words for that week. This just helps me stay organized and have a copy of what I was teaching and how the students learned.

Hands on learning!! Engaging lessons and innovative ideas! I was blessed to be able to teach at an Fine Arts Academy where I received training by ArtsNow in how to use visual art, dance, music, and theatre to bring lessons to life!
