In this mini project, students will create and design a menu for their "restaurant" and make decimal prices. Then students will "order" from other restaurants and take their orders on a guest check. They will "make change" and show all of their work to be graded on a rubric. This is a fun way to practice and assess adding and subtracting decimals while adding in creativity, art, and real-world simulations! It is also a great way to integrate culture!
